Mac miniをオーバークロック？！

もうそんなことまでされているんですね。

Overclocking Apple Mac mini

英語のページです。小さな抵抗を外して別の場所に付け替えるのですね。相当リスクは高そうです。1.25GHzモデルは1.42GHzで問題なく動作（1.5GHz以上ではAltivec関連で問題が出ているそうです）し、1.42GHzモデルは1.58GHzで（クロックの表示がおかしい以外は）問題なく動作動作するとのことです。

他には、OS Xを一度も使用することなくMac miniをLinuxマシンにした(HMX.NET)方もいらっしゃるようですね。作り手がユニークな製品を作れば、それを使いたいと思うユニークな人もいらっしゃるということで。わざわざLinux導入していらっしゃいますが、OS Xも一応UNIX系なんですが…
